Shipping scaffolding and formwork worldwide
We deliver scaffolding and formwork from Leipzig to customers across Europe and overseas. Here is how shipping works and what you need to prepare.
By truck within Europe
Most European deliveries travel on semi-trailers with side loading. Material is packed on pallets, in stillages or strapped bundles, so it can be unloaded with a forklift or crane. Transit times within the EU are usually a few days after loading. Please make sure your site or yard can receive a 13.6 m trailer.
By container overseas
For destinations outside Europe we load 20- or 40-foot containers in Leipzig and ship them via a European seaport, most often Hamburg. Container loading is planned piece by piece to use the space and stay within the permitted payload. We can quote the delivery to the port of departure or – through our freight partners – to your destination port.
Delivery terms
Our prices are quoted ex works Leipzig. Freight is quoted separately, either as delivery to your site or to an agreed port. We state the agreed Incoterm in the quotation, so it is clear who arranges and pays for each leg of the transport and where the risk passes.
Paperwork
- Within the EU: invoice and delivery note; deliveries to VAT-registered businesses with a valid VAT ID are usually invoiced without German VAT.
- Outside the EU (for example the UK, Norway, Switzerland, the Middle East, Africa, the Americas): export declaration, commercial invoice and packing list. Import VAT and any duties are payable in the destination country.
Payment before loading
Material is loaded once payment has been received. This keeps prices low and lets us reserve the material for you. Details are explained on delivery and payment.
