Inspected used material: our method in four steps
Buying used equipment requires trust. This is exactly what we check before a part enters our available stock.
Receipt and sorting
Every delivery is sorted by manufacturer and type of part. Obviously unsafe parts are separated immediately and sent for recycling.
Visual check
Squareness of frames and brackets, straightness of tubes, condition of the welds at the nodes, depth of corrosion. A bent standard or a cracked weld: the part is taken out.
Mechanics
Threads of couplers and base jacks, deck locks, pins and wedges: everything that moves must work without force.
Available stock
Only parts that pass go into saleable stock. The quantities in our offers are material that is ready to load.
What “inspected” means – and what it does not replace
We remove dirt that prevents a part from being judged (concrete, thick mortar). We do not repaint or re-galvanise material to make it look better: you see the real condition of the steel. Used scaffolding shows signs of use; they do not affect stability or safety.
Our check is a dealer’s internal check. It does not replace the inspections required on site by your local regulations – before first use, at regular intervals and after any event affecting the scaffold. See our guide on scaffolding inspection.
A problem with a part?
If a delivered part does not match what was agreed, let us know with a photo and we will replace it from stock. To buy with confidence, also read our checklist for buying used scaffolding.
