What does used scaffolding cost? The honest answer is: it depends on system, condition, quantity and destination. But the range is narrower than many buyers expect.
Typical prices per square metre
For the complete scaffolding packages with a price currently listed on this site, the price lies between €22 and €51 per m² plus VAT (median €32/m², 18 packages). Frame scaffolding for facades is at the lower end, modular systems and wide bays at the upper end. Prices on this site are net prices for the material, loaded in Leipzig; freight is quoted separately.
What drives the price
- System: widespread systems sell and resell easily, which supports their value.
- Composition: a balanced package with all small parts is worth more than loose frames and decks.
- Condition: sorted, inspected material costs more than unsorted site returns – and saves you the sorting.
- Quantity: large lots and full truckloads lower the price per m² and the freight per m².
- Deck type: aluminium and plywood decks are more expensive than steel decks.
Freight and taxes
Add freight to your site and, depending on your country, import VAT and duties. Within the EU, deliveries to VAT-registered businesses are usually invoiced without German VAT; see delivery and payment.
