Floor props and steel props for sale

Floor props, also called steel props or telescopic props, carry slab formwork until the concrete has gained its strength, and support floors during refurbishment work. Here you find used props from leading manufacturers, inspected in our warehouse in Leipzig, Germany.

Props are listed by their extension range, for example 1.70 to 3.00 m or 3.00 to 5.50 m. Choose the range so that the prop works well inside it: the further a prop is extended, the lower the load it can carry.

  • Floor props to EN 1065 for slab formwork with beams and panels.
  • Heavy-duty props and shoring towers for higher loads and greater heights.
  • Matching accessories such as tripods and forkheads: please ask in your enquiry.

Add the props you need to your enquiry and we send you a free quotation including delivery.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between floor props and acrow props?
In the UK, acrow is often used as a general name for any adjustable steel prop. Technically they are telescopic steel props; modern floor props to EN 1065 are classified by load class and extension length.
How do I choose the right prop length?
Measure the clear height between the floor and the underside of the formwork beams. Pick a prop whose extension range covers this height without being fully extended, because the permitted load drops as the prop gets longer.
How many props do I need?
That depends on slab thickness, formwork system and prop class. The load tables of the formwork manufacturer are binding. Send us your slab area and thickness and we help you with the quantities.
Are used props checked before sale?
Yes. Props are checked for straightness, damaged threads, working pins and corrosion before dispatch. Damaged props are not sold.
